Hope Care Centre is a children's home in New Njiru, Nairobi, dedicated to providing love, care, shelter, education, and hope to orphans and vulnerable children.

Dyna Kinyajui founded Hope Care Centre with a heart of compassion and a vision to restore hope to vulnerable children.

At Hope Care Centre, we believe that every child — regardless of where they have come from or what they have endured — carries within them extraordinary worth, unfinished potential, and an irreplaceable story still being written.

We are more than a shelter. We are a home. A community. A launching pad for lives that were once on the edge of being lost.

Through five interconnected programs, we walk alongside vulnerable, orphaned, abandoned, and at-risk children — not just to keep them safe today, but to raise them into confident, purposeful, and flourishing human beings tomorrow.

We provide immediate and holistic care — safe shelter, nutritious meals, medical attention, emotional support, and loving guidance. We help children heal from trauma and rebuild their sense of safety, belonging, and self-worth.

Safe accommodation, nutritious meals, clothing, medical attention, and structured routines that restore a sense of normalcy.

Trauma-informed support

Responsible collaboration with families, guardians, community leaders, and authorities toward long-term child safety.

Restoring families. Rebuilding belonging. Strengthening kinship.

Where safe and in the best interest of the child, we work carefully to reconnect them with family. We provide guidance, support, and follow-up care for lasting restoration and stability.

Family tracing

Sensitive identification and tracing of biological relatives and extended family through community networks.

Relationship restoration

Gradual trust-building, supervised bonding, emotional restoration, and strengthened family communication.

Reintegration support

Counselling, parenting support, welfare referrals, follow-up monitoring, and community-based support systems.

ART MENTORSHIP

Art Mentorship Classes

Our Art Mentorship classes are currently ongoing every Sunday, giving the children a joyful space to create, learn, express themselves, and grow in confidence through hands-on artwork.
